Privacy policy

Version of 13 October 2026 (referral programme added)

This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Who is responsible?

Raphaël Bauer (eTribu)
Rue des Alpes 65
1023 Crissier, Switzerland
contact@etribu.ch

2. What data does this site collect?

This site is a presentation page and a waiting list. When you sign up, we record:

To protect the form against abuse, your IP address is used briefly in memory to limit the number of sign-ups; it is not recorded in the list.

If you arrive through an invitation link, that code is kept in your browser (local storage) until you sign up, so it can be credited to the right person; it contains no personal data.

The site uses no cookies, no audience-measurement tool, no advertising, and no fonts or scripts loaded from another service.

3. Why?

Only to contact you about the launch of eTribu (your spot opening, the Founders' offer, an invitation to the pilot), to rank the waiting list (every friend who signs up with your link moves you up) and to know which partners bring us sign-ups (as figures, without your data). Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form.

4. For how long?

Until you unsubscribe, and at the latest 24 months after you signed up if eTribu has not launched. After that, your data is deleted.

5. Who has access? Where is it stored?

Only the person responsible named above. The person who invited you only sees how many friends signed up with their link, never your name or your address. To send you news about the launch, your first name and e-mail address are entrusted to Infomaniak's newsletter tool, in Switzerland. The data is stored on a server located in Switzerland (Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva), which hosts the service. The site's security certificate is issued by Let's Encrypt. Your data is never sold, rented or passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.

6. Your rights

You can at any time request access to your data, its correction or its deletion, and withdraw your consent: write to contact@etribu.ch. We reply within 30 days. You can also contact the FDPIC (Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner).

7. The future eTribu service

The service itself (reading the e-mails you forward, bills, agenda, tickets) is not yet open to the public. A full privacy policy specific to the service will be published and must be accepted before any use.

8. Changes

This page may change; the version date above shows the latest update.
